Information Networking Group
The members of this group aim to established links with other local and national organisations with similar aims.
Currently we have established good links with Martlesham Climate action group, Transition Woodbridge and Bredfield parish council as well as
our own parish council. Many members of Greener Waldringfield are also members of East Suffolk's Greenprint forum and joint events have been held
in the past (see our history).
One local Parish Council, Rendlesham, is particularly active and has produced an exemplary Climate Action Strategy. See the
following links for more details of these similar organisations activities:

The current Greener Waldringfield structure, revised earlier this year (2021) however, was mainly influenced by the excellent work of Haddenham Parish Council:

Greener Waldringfield were also made aware of the outstanding work being done in Risby (Suffolk) by a contact on Bredfield Parish Council. He put us in touch with
Sophie Flux in Risby whose inspirational Wildlife Friendly Communities work can be seen in the BBC Countryfile episode of the 23rd August 2020 (37min).

Risby - A wildlife friendly village
The Countryfile episode is a special issue which focuses on the major rewilding projects in Suffolk, including the rewilding of the Sommerleyton
hall 5000 acre estate. The WildEast rewilding project is hoping to persuade land owners to pledge fifth (20%) of their estates for the exclusive use of
wildlife. We can all join this fantastic project! If you have already rewilded 20% or more of your garden, or pledge to do this, let us know. We are
compiling a 'role of honour' list of Waldringfield land set aside for wildlife. You can also join the WildEast project here:
